Matt Thomson leads Data & Digital for Nokia’s Corporate Affairs, with the goal of building predictive analytics capabilities to support the practice in providing actionable data to promote the company and mitigate risk. Matt started at Nokia as head of 5G Communications, before heading PR for two of Nokia’s business units. Before Nokia, Matt spent 10 years as Managing Director of TheNewsMarket, a technology and creative agency operating in the US, Europe and Asia. Matt was the co-inventor of a proprietary media distribution platform, connecting brands such as adidas, IKEA, Lamborghini and the International Monetary Fund with journalists in 190 countries. He led a TV production team at the London Olympics producing daily programming for gold sponsor P&G, and produced a live TV show with PwC’s Global Chairman at Davos for seven years.
