In this talk, we will explore how Test Driven Development (TDD) serves as a foundation for building robust automation frameworks like Selenium. The speaker shares how TDD has improved development processes and how AI can act as a helpful pair programmer, with a coding demo showing building a new Selenium API using TDD and AI. The talk covers prompts, structuring prompts to provide context with user stories and test cases, and how to get AI to provide valuable code suggestions.

This project develops an AI-driven prescription support tool aimed at enhancing the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of medication prescribing in clinical settings. Every day, healthcare providers face immense pressure managing high patient volumes and navigating complex, evolving medical information. Our tool leverages explainable AI to flag potential drug-to-disease interactions in real time, reducing cognitive burden and supporting safer decisions. Built on WHO disease classifications and aligned with FHIR standards, it is designed for seamless future integration with Electronic Health Records (EHRs), offering a scalable solution for smarter, more connected prescribing.

Scalability and reliability are 🔑 when you're processing millions of orders every day. Load testing helps ensure everything runs smoothly — even during peak times like holidays 🎄📈. But here's the catch: manually analysing those results is slow, tedious, and often misses critical issues like latency spikes, excessive resource usage, or sneaky memory leaks 🐛 in your Golang services.

This talk dives into how AI can transform load test analysis — cutting through the noise to spot what really matters, faster and smarter 🤖⚙️.

Moderator: Larry Swanson. Panelists: Peter Haase (metaphacts), Harald Sack (FIZ Karlsruhe & KIT Karlsruhe), Jennifer Lechner (d-fine), André Teege (Piterion), Alexander Garcia (Siemens Energy). Topics include: Can LLMs actually “understand” symbols, or are they just statistically impressive? How does symbolic reasoning enhance comprehension and trust? Should neuro-symbolic AI be the gold standard for safety and regulation? Is interpretability more important than raw performance? Whose knowledge do symbolic systems represent—and what are the implications?

In hospitals, direct patient observation is limited–nurses spend only 37% of their shift engaged in patient care, and physicians average just 10 visits per hospital stay. LookDeep Health’s AI-driven platform enables continuous and passive monitoring of individual patients, and has been deployed “in the wild” for nearly 3 years. They recently published a study validating this system, titled “Continuous Patient Monitoring with AI”. This talk is a technical dive into said paper, focusing on the intersection of AI and real-world application.
