Parul Mishra is Vice President, Digital Labor at IBM where she focuses on empowering customers and employees with intelligent and personalized AI assistants that can efficiently drive self-serve resolution and boost productivity – through simple, intuitive, and guided conversations. Powered by IBM watsonx platform, watsonx Orchestrate, and the business automation capabilities like decisions, workflow, and document processing, these AI Assistants leverage GenAI and Automation to free humans from the drudgery of manual, repetitive tasks. In her previous role, Parul led business development and strategic partnerships for IBM Automation to build a robust ecosystem of partners to support sustainable growth for IBM’s Automation division. Prior to this role, Parul was part of the IBM Finance & Operations organization, where she was the Director of IBM’s cloud-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and led the development and engineering for the platform built on IBM’s cloud object storage, DB2WoC, and Cognos analytics. Parul’s 20 year career at IBM has led her through a wide range of roles earning her expertise in software development, business operations, and workflow transformation. Parul is based in New York, and earned her Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and Master of Science from Michigan Technological University.
