Enterprise Data Architect - BAE

Dawn Carter, Enterprise Data Architect, is at the forefront of shaping the data architecture specialism at BAE Systems Plc, including creating standards, best practices and processes for data architecture. Beyond her professional role, she is the founder of BAE Systems Data & Analytics Women’s Network, and was previously the co-chair of the Gender Equity Network (GEN). Recognized as Rising Star of the Year at The British Data Awards 2024, No. 4 in the Involve Top 100 Female Future Leaders 2023, and part of the 2024 Twenty in Data & Tech Alumni, Dawn is a dedicated advocate for diversity. Additionally, she serves as a trustee on the board of directors of Epilepsy Scotland Charity, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the tech sector. Her commitment to inclusion extends to the community as an active member of Bolton Deaf Society and part of their Handmade Choir preforming songs in British Sign Language to make music more accessible to the deaf community.
