James began his career in Business Intelligence at Blueprint after earning an economics degree from Newcastle University. Witnessing the transformative power of data first-hand, he pursued this mission passionately. At Blueprint, he sold BusinessObjects and, after the company's acquisition by NTT Data, joined Tableau for the second wave of data analytics. Initially an Account Executive for financial services, James progressed to lead Tableau's Enterprise New Business team and eventually managed Tableau's UK&I operations, overseeing a team of 120 and $100M ARR. Now at ThoughtSpot, James is excited to drive innovation in data and analytics in EMEA. Outside of work, he lives in Henley-on-Thames with his wife, Lily, and their two children, Molly and Freddie. A keen golfer with a scratch handicap, he also collects gin and supports Newcastle United, Northampton Saints, and the Indianapolis Colts.
