Director, Customer Success Management Salesforce

For 15+ years, Jeremy has helped people turn data into action, drawing on real-world experience, prioritizing what’s real over fluff, and yes, even having some fun with it along the way.

Today, Jeremy works at Salesforce, where he leads Customer Success efforts with defense and national security organizations, helping teams put Tableau, analytics, and AI to use through real strategy, solid governance, and data cultures built to last.

Outside of his day job, Jeremy teaches about analytics at The Fletcher School at Tufts University and speaks regularly on topics like analytics governance, data culture, and the evolving role of AI.

Jeremy’s journey with data started in the U.S. Air Force, where he discovered the thrill of solving real-world problems through analytics. Since then, Jeremy held customer success and go-to-market leadership roles across both tech startups and industry giants where he’s seen firsthand that while tools can drive results, it’s people and processes that turn analytics into lasting impact.

Jeremy is a proud Michigan State alum now based in Northern Virginia, bringing energy and a people-first mindset to everything he does — especially when that work helps turn data into real-world results.

Why self-serve analytics & AI fail -- and how metadata can save them

Self-serve analytics promises speed. But without clear guidance, it often leads to hidden obstacles like cluttered dashboards, runaway costs, and a loss of trust in the data. Add AI to the mix, and those faults become fractures. In this session, we'll unpack why self-serve efforts stall, with lessons from real-world teams at Shopify and Tableau. We’ll also explore how BetterHelp uses dbt alongside Euno’s lineage and usage insights to declutter, cut compute costs, and determine which data assets and reports teams (and AI agents) can trust.

Business leaders are demanding clear evidence that data investments are generating real business value — not just summaries of how many dashboards or datasets live in your analytics environment. This session will equip you with practical, proven methods — like business value maps and usage analytics — to uncover, measure, and clearly communicate the true business impact of your data and analytics initiatives. You’ll leave with the tools and language you need to lead ROI conversations, defend your strategy, and secure ongoing investment.
