Your AI team doesn't need a platform, but a paved ramp sure can help! In this session, Ramiro will discuss the risks of premature platformatization, why Kubernetes is the best tool for AI Infrastructure, and how remote development environments are especially useful when it comes to building paved roads for AI development.

Abstract: It is possible to implement AI-based solutions without coding. In this workshop, I will reshape an old application of mine for fraud detection. First I will read documents from a dataset of contracts, then find the frauds, and finally use GenAI to send the customer an alert email in their preferred language. It takes just three nodes to generate the email text: Authenticate – Connect – Prompt. With a few more nodes, using RAG, I can also generate the alert email from a context document.

Tim Spann will guide you through practical examples, showcasing NiFi's automation impact from ingestion to delivery. Whether you're a seasoned data engineer or new to GenAI, this talk offers valuable insights into optimizing workflows. Join us to unlock the potential of real-time streaming and witness how NiFi makes data engineering a breeze for GenAI applications!

A fireside chat between Hugo and Simon Willison exploring LLMs, GenAI, and democratizing data tools. They discuss what LLMs are capable of, the evolving ecosystem, running LLMs locally, and how Unix philosophy, Python, and LLMs can be combined into a productivity toolkit. Includes a live coding intro to Simon’s LLM CLI utility and Python library.
