Simon Floyd is Microsoft's General Manager for Manufacturing & Mobility Industries in the Americas, leading a team focused on innovation, intelligent factories, enhanced customer experiences, and resilient supply chains through digital solutions. He has 34 years of experience in product design, manufacturing solutions, and smart products, with prior leadership roles at Google Cloud, Cadence Design Systems, and Actify. Beginning his career in Australia, he worked with Ford Australia and James Hardie Industries. He holds an Industrial Design degree from Monash University and has patents in solar power generation, architectural products, and lifecycle management software.
