The Met Office generates over 400TB of weather and climate data each day. To address the growing need for timely and accurate insights, we are changing our data processing and delivery methods in alignment with our strategic priorities: Purposeful Data and Intelligence, Customer First, and Agility and Innovation.
This session will detail our use of Snowflake to ingest and analyse complex weather data, converting it into actionable insight. We will also demonstrate how Snowflake enables us not only provide data of the forecast weather conditions, but to show how Snowflake can enable customers with meaningful information on the potential impact of those conditions.
