How to Write Your Book Using AI
2025-07-30 · 16:00
This event is being promoted by many groups. This is an online event. Participants can be located anywhere in the world! This event is FREE to attend! In order to attend, please register here: How to Write Your Book Using AI Tickets, Wed, Jul 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM | Eventbrite For login info, visit: https://www.publishmybestseller.com/the-ai-workshop?affiliate_id=4308062 Hurry! Slots are limited! How would you like to finally write your amazing book, get completely unstuck in the writing process and never worry about sitting in front of a blinking cursor with writer's block again? All by using the power of AI to supercharge your writing! You’ve probably heard a ton about AI recently and maybe you're skeptical about it - perhaps understandably so.The first thing I want to point out is that I am not talking about having AI do all the work and write some regurgitated mess from the web - no one wants that. But what if you’re stuck on crafting a really engaging title and sub-title and you just need some great examples to draw from. I’m going to show you how AI can help with that. Or what if you are stuck with creating a great table of contents and flow for your book and you’d like to see the best structure to use for a business book, or self help book, or coaching, medical, legal or consulting book? I’m going to show you how AI can help with that. What if you're stuck needing a relevant stories or anecdote to drive home your message—be it leadership triumphs, coaching successes, sales victories, or client breakthroughs. AI can help with that too! The speaker, Rob Kosberg, is the founder of Best Seller Publishing and we have helped thousands of authors to write, publish and launch their books to bestseller status. Over the last decade we have developed our own proprietary methodology (and trademarked it) we call Enhanced Ghostwriting™ And we have taught AI to model that method. I want to invite you to my Write Your Book with AI Workshop and I am going to show you how to use AI and get unstuck forever with your writing. We will discuss how to:

Meetup #7 - Humans and AI - Digital Responsibility for the AI Age
2025-06-19 · 17:00
AI for the rest of us is on a mission to make AI easier to understand. AI is ready for everyone. No matter who you are. No matter what your role. We promise no hype, no jargon and no confusing terminology. We're a warm and inclusive community where we meet you where you are, and help get you where you want to be! Join us for our next in-person meetup in London on Thursday June 19th At this event we have two amazing speakers who will provide unique perspectives on the Human benefits and impacts of AI. Azahara Corrales (AI Digital Transformation Leader) will be speaking about how AI can be a tool that empowers people and Rob Price (Founder, Futuria) will be reflecting on Digital Responsibility when delegating work to multi-agent teams. Where and When?
Talk 1: AI, Made Human: What You Really Need to Know (Azahara Corrales, Digital Transformation Leader) In a world where AI can feel distant, overwhelming, or even threatening, this talk brings it back to the human level. Azahara Corrales breaks down what AI really is (and isn’t), and shows how anyone, regardless of background, can start using it today to improve productivity, creativity, and confidence. It's not about replacing humans; it’s about empowering them. Azahara Corrales is an international public speaker and award-winning AI strategist, known for helping brands and professionals embrace artificial intelligence to drive meaningful transformation. With a background in digital marketing and a passion for closing the tech gap, she empowers organisations and individuals, especially women, to confidently navigate the future of work with AI. Talk 2: Digital Responsibility with Multi-Team, Multi-Agent Agentic AI (Rob Price, Founder of Futuria) Rob founded the global Corporate Digital Responsibility movement and brings that knowledge and experience to the domain of multi-agent teams. As we innovate with AI agents we are constantly asking ourselves the questions of "what work do we delegate to teams of AI agents?" and importantly "what does that mean for us?" Massive thank you to our sponsors DevRev.ai and Kolteki who host our meetups! Without their support this would not be possible! PyDataMCR November THE TALKS Developing High-Resolution Models for Future UK Climate Extremes - Rob Shooter (He/Him) Extreme events of climatological variables have the potential to cause significant damage to buildings and infrastructure in the UK. With the expected effects of climate change, these extremes are likely to increase in magnitude. Therefore, estimating the size of future extreme events, such as 100-year precipitation events, is important for climate adaptation strategies, where high resolution is also often desired. In this talk, Rob will give an overview of some approaches to estimating present-day extremes of environmental hazards, then describe how 2.2 km resolution climate data can be used to produce estimates of 100-year precipitation events in the year 2070, detailing some of the computational challenges that need to be overcome. Rob has a background in statistics, working mostly on spatial statistics models applied to environmental data. He has previously worked at the Met Office and EDF Energy, developing models for extreme values of precipitation and temperature across the UK for present-day and future timescales. Live Meetup bij Axians Business Analytics Groningen
2023-11-07 · 15:00
Ook in November weer een meetup! Locatie nog vast te stellen (suggesties uiteraard welkom), de speakers hebben inmiddels toegezegd! Hugo neemt ons mee in de prachtige wereld van de execution plans: You have learned the relevance of execution plans. You know where to find them, and you’ve been taught the basics of how to read them. You’ve looked at some of the clean, simple execution plans that presenters used in classroom training, or at conferences, and you feel confident that you can work with them. And then you get your first problem query at your workplace, you look at its execution plan, and you just want to crawl under a rock and cry. Real code is much more complicated than demo code. Real code translates to large, complex, and often messy execution plans. The principles of reading execution plans still apply, but the plan is large and messy and you struggle where to even begin. If your query uses a lot of I/O, then which operators are to blame? If your query uses a lot of memory, then what area is responsible? What are some things you should always look at? Knowing the root cause of a problem can help find a cure. Knowing where to look in a large execution plan can help you find that root cause faster! Rob gaat dieper in op de security van Azure SQL door het gebruik van Defender: Your work for a company with much exposure in the market. You have setup several things like auditing for being able to notice that something happened to the data. Microsoft Defender for Windows is running. For Legal reasons they require more. They want you to be able to block access when someone tries to get into your system. The company stakeholder selected a tool for this.. Defender for SQL. Choice is made upon the fact that it combines protection of data in Azure and on Premise. The requirements made up also include things like to protect only certain systems. A wish of the stakeholder is also to include the audit data in the same portal. How does Defender for SQL work? What is the reaction time. You also struggle about the fact to do it selectively. Can this be done? How to identify data from Premise Cloud in the same Portal? Can we use this data with more solutions? Let me help you getting on the road. |

System Observability For The Cloud Native Era With Chronosphere
2021-02-02 · 02:00

Summary Collecting and processing metrics for monitoring use cases is an interesting data problem. It is eminently possible to generate millions or billions of data points per second, the information needs to be propagated to a central location, processed, and analyzed in timeframes on the order of milliseconds or single-digit seconds, and the consumers of the data need to be able to query the information quickly and flexibly. As the systems that we build continue to grow in scale and complexity the need for reliable and manageable monitoring platforms increases proportionately. In this episode Rob Skillington, CTO of Chronosphere, shares his experiences building metrics systems that provide observability to companies that are operating at extreme scale. He describes how the M3DB storage engine is designed to manage the pressures of a critical system component, the inherent complexities of working with telemetry data, and the motivating factors that are contributing to the growing need for flexibility in querying the collected metrics. This is a fascinating conversation about an area of data management that is often taken for granted. Privacy Optimization Meets Pandemic Tracking
2020-08-25
Rob Pegoraro
– author
Can smartphone apps help track the spread of the novel coronavirus, privately and securely? In this report, Rob Pegoraro weighs the issue of whether mobile apps can help trace and then slow the spread of COVID-19 or will end up as just another episode of botched government procurement and application of technology. Apple and Google have recently devised a system to track COVID-19 infections anonymously using Bluetooth with iOS and Android smartphones. This development points a spotlight on a needed debate about balancing privacy and collecting useful data. Do privacy-optimizing techniques, such as federated learning and differential privacy, offer useful alternatives to building centralized databases that may later invite abuse? This report takes a close look at this subject and then provides recommendations for software developers, public health authorities, and elected officials who want to build on the Apple-Google API. Understand the scope of the problem, including how contact tracing can help slow and stop outbreaks Take a closer look at Apple and Google’s proposed remedy Learn how other countries including Singapore, India, France, and Australia have traced the spread of COVID-19 Examine the risk factors for adopting and using a decentralized system like the Apple-Google app |
